Genom att analysera manualer till fem olika stycken skrivna efter 1950 fås en överblick över hur olika kompositörer använder sig av nya speltekniker för flöjt och vad de anser vara viktigt att förklara för flöjtisten. Arbetet går igenom de olika nya speltekniker som finns för flöjt och hur de noteras.This study is investigating what extended techniques for flute are and how they are being used.
