Phosphate permeases of Saccharomyces cerevisiae
The PHO84 and PHO89 genes of Saccharomyces cerevisiae encode two high- affinity phosphate cotransporters of the plasma membrane. Hydropathy analysis suggests a secondary structure arrangements of the proteins in 12 transmembrane domains.
