Estmating Extreme Thermal Actions in Concrete Structures
The surrounding climate gives temperature variations in both time and space for concrete structures. Due to external and internal restraints thermal strains and stresses may develop in the structure and these stresses can contribute to cracking. This will affect the performance of the structure. To predict the dynamic thermal conditions in concrete structures a finite element model has been develo

Does Pricing Capability Affect Product Market Value Appropriation: A Case-Study in the European Packaging Industry
This case-study of pricing capability in the European packaging industry examines the process and mechanisms whereby pricing capability affects product market value appropriation. Pricing related challenges illustrated by the five cases included in the study ranged from keeping track of and setting consistent prices for up to 5000 different products spread across almost a thousand different custom

In-situ phase studies of the Zr-H system
Zirconium alloys are widely used in the nuclear industry because of their high strength, good corrosion resistance and low neutron absorption cross-section. However, zirconium has strong affinity for hydrogen, which may lead to hydrogen concentration build-up over time during a corrosion reaction when exposed to water. Hydrogen stays in solution at higher temperature but precipitates as zirconium
