Numerical Analysis of the Anisotropic Stiffness of a Thin Aluminium Foil in Multiple Material directions Based on Experiments
Numerical analysis have been performed on tensile test experiment data to evaluated the performances of a 9 microns thick aluminium foil. The identification of the anisotropic material properties is based on tensile tests performed in 11 di↵erent angles from 0 to 90 from the rolling direction. By least square fitting and extrapolation to zero load the elastic modulus is, as opposed to the general Numerical analysis have been performed on tensile test experiment data toevaluated the performances of a 9 microns thick aluminium foil.
