Resultat:The aim of this study is to investigate family therapists theories and experiences of termination in family therapy. The study is based on qualitative interviews with ten family therapists. The interviews with ten licensed family therapists have been processed using Hayes thematic analysis. The results from the study shows that termination can vary from case to case, and between different family t

Water-Based Polymeric Binder for Stainless Alloys

Thirteen different polymers have been investigated in the tries to find a polymeric water-based binder for the brazing alloy F300. F300 has the chemical formula Fe-24Cr-20Ni-10Cu-7P-5Mn-Si and is a gas-atomized metal powder used for high temperature brazing. Except being water-soluble the polymers used for the binder, would have to provide sufficient viscosity at a maximum 2 wt% and not gel under

The effect of predation risk on partial migration

Detta kallas i litteraturen för partiell migratioPartial migration, defined as when only some individuals within a population migrate whereas others remain as year-round residents, is ubiquitous in the animal kingdom. However, the reasons why some, but not all individuals migrate are not fully understood. Results from multiple recent studies indicate that the propensity to migrate often is flexible and influenced by ecological factors such as fo

Solubility-enhancing fusion tags and heterologous expression of the aggregation-prone protein YjbH in Escherichia coli

Digital Citizenship : Growing up with Social Media

Children today grow up with a plurality of technological opportunities. In the last ten years the digital development has enable multiple possibilities to participate in a so called ‘digitally mediated society’. Ever since the discussions do not stop, in what way do children learn a responsible use of digital media. How do children develop to Digital Citizens in the future? For the investigation o

Guided Transcoding for Next-Generation Video Coding (HEVC)

==================== Adaptiv streaming Streaming är ett populärt sätt att skicka video över internet där en sekvens delas upp i korta segment soVideo content is the dominant traffic type on mobile networks today and this portion is only expected to increase in the future. In this thesis we investigate ways of reducing bit rates for adaptive streaming applications in the latest video coding standard, H.265 / High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC). The current models for offering different-resolution versions of video content in a dynamic way

From Necessitous Refugees to Menacing Migrants : The Syrian Refugees and their depiction in the Media from September 2015 to January 2016

This research touches upon the influence of media on both society and politics on the sensitive issue that is the refugee crisis Europe is subject to at the time of writing. By the means of newspaper and alternative media content analysis, the thesis will attempt to create a framework intended to rationalize the development of sentiment towards refugees as well as determine and investigate the int

The life of Kanye : a qualitative content analysis of Kanye West’s twitter practice

Celebrity Twitter use has recently been the subject of celebrity studies. Performing authenticity and intimacy as well as engaging interactively with followers are considered central characteristics of ‘micro-celebrity’ practice, which is widely considered to be extensively utilized by celebrities in their use of Twitter. Taking this framework suggested by celebrity studies as a point of departure

Psychometric evaluation of EQ-5D-5L in OHCA survivors from the TTM2 trial : a post hoc analysis

Aims: Our aim was to investigate the psychometric properties of the health assessment instrument EQ-5D-5L in OHCA survivors. Methods: We included survivors from the Targeted Hypothermia versus Targeted Normothermia after OHCA (TTM2) trial, who completed EQ-5D-5L at 6 months. Understanding efforts to (de)legitimize bus rapid transit implementation : A media analysis of the protests in Örebro, Sweden

Protests against various transition projects, including both infrastructure and policy changes, are not uncommon and have been observed in diverse contexts. However, protests specifically against Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) implementation remain understudied. This study examines the local media debate surrounding a BRT project in Örebro, Sweden, with a focus on how proponents and opponents use argumen

In Westerhus on the island of Frösö in Jämtland the childhood was a stressful period with high mortality. In this study the living conditions of the children are discussed on the basis of the age distribution of infants, the prevalence of enamel hypoplasia and the tooth size of deciduous and permanent teeth. Gejvall’s age distribution of infants dying in the neonatal and the postneonatal periods w

A Consensus Taxonomy of Altered (Nonordinary) States of Consciousness: : Bringing Order to Disarray

This article presents a taxonomy of altered states of consciousness, primarily based on their central phenomenological features. Following taxonomic principles and a modified Delphi methodology, a multidisciplinary, international group identified eight distinct phenomenological/behavioral states (some with subcategories): proto and transitional, delirium, minimal to no awareness, experiential deta

Flow uniformity inside the drying chamber of a heat exchanger-based solar dryer : numerical analysis with smoke flow visualization as experimental validation

Solar drying technologies have emerged as efficient and user-friendly solutions for food drying processes, particularly in regions with limited access to electricity and high post-harvest losses. These technologies offer a sustainable alternative to conventional drying methods. However, one of the key challenges limiting their effectiveness is the non-homogeneous airflow inside the drying chamber,

This work presents a new approach to the autotuning strategy for controlling pH in raceway reactors, based on classical relay-based autotuning principles. A relay applied to reference method is proposed that allows seamless integration into existing control loops without the need for manual recalibration across seasons or operator intervention. Two different models were identified: first-order wit

Structural Stability and Photoluminescence Property of Cs2UCl6 Single Crystal Derived from Spent Nuclear Fuel

The recycling and reuse of trace uranium from spent nuclear fuel is of great significance for the safety management of the nuclear fuel cycle. However, stabilization of low-valent uranium has always been a challenge due to the ultraoxidizable nature of uranium ions, which remains relatively uncharted territory in spent fuel treatment. In the current study, U4+ was immobilized in Cs2UCl6 single cry

Far-right discourses, right-wing populism and the question of housing in Ireland

This report examines the evolving political discourse in Ireland in the lead-up to the 2024 local, general and European elections, focusing on the potential rise of far-right populism. Traditionally dominated by centrist parties, and with an increasingly progressive trajectory of referendums, Ireland has long been viewed as an exception to the European trend of far-right mobilisation. However, rec

A story of a Royal Meeting that created Intermittent Radio Therapy (iRT)

Utrustningen visades upp för kung Carl XVI Gustaf och drottning Silvia på Forskningens DagThis story has its origin in my presentation at the 1983 Research Day in Lund, to HM King XIV Gustav on our development of microwave-induced hyperthermia treatment of breast cancer recurrence, which brought me together with Professor Leif G. Salford, whose presentation was next to mine. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, Leif Salford initiated a clinical trial "Brain Immune Gene Tumour The
