Anorexia nervosa: physical health and neurodevelopment at 16 and 21 years.

Fifty-one cases of anorexia nervosa (AN) and 51 age-, sex- and school-matched controls, all drawn from a community sample of 15- to 16-year-olds, were compared at 16 and 21 years with regard to physical health and neurodevelopment. The AN group had significantly lower mean height than the comparison group at age 21 years. There were significantly more individuals that were overweight and underweig

Rheological properties of wheat flour dough and gluten. Effect of water content and native lipids.

Dough is the intermediate product in the transformation of fluurs to bread or to other baked products. Rheological properties of dough and gluten are important since they affect the quality of the baked product. They are also important because the provide information on dough structure. As with any other material, the rheological properties of dough are determined by its composition (protein, star

Experimental evaluation of fourth generation DSL in different DSM scenarios

Recently, the industry and the academy started to discuss the development of the fourth generation DSL systems. For example, within this context, ITU started working in G. fast DSL standard. A trend in this new generation is to increase the end-user bit rates by extending the frequency rage of transmission signals and reducing the copper loop length. For the frequency range being considered for us

Om mångfald

This conference paper discusses the theoretical and political implications and complications connected with the concept of diversity.

Sampling of a system with a time delay

This note deals with the problem of sampling a continuous-time system which contains a time delay. It is shown that the infinite-dimensional continuons-time system can be represented by a finite-dimensional sampled data system. It is shown that there are simple expressions for the sampled data state-space representations.

Making Pairs

This thesis makes a contribution to matching theory. It consists of five self-contained papers. It is a study predominately on the existence of stable outcomes. These are desirable both from a practical and a theoretical standpoint. Matching theory has grown in importance in recent years following its successful applications to, for instance, kidney exchange, the National Resident Matching Program

Merging Route Data and Cartographic Data

Routing is an interesting application for Location Based Services. In order to provide this application on the National Mapping Agencies’ cartographic data the routes must be provided by an external source. The integration of cartographic data and route data is somewhat problematic, why the problems and possible solutions are discussed.
