Intracellular and Intercellular Mitochondrial Dynamics in Parkinson's Disease
The appearance of alpha-synuclein-positive inclusion bodies (Lewy bodies) and the loss of catecholaminergic neurons are the primary pathological hallmarks of Parkinson's disease (PD).
