Barometry of Clinopyroxene in Xenoliths from the Anaga Region in Tenerife – Constraints on the Magmatic Plumbing System
Cumulate xenoliths from beach boulders in Anaga, Tenerife were analyzed through optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), both EDS and EBSD, and barometric modelling to study the magmatic evolution and volcanic plumbing system of the Anaga massif. Petrographic results indicate crystallization from hydrous basaltic magmas at equilibrium. This was further supported with chemical analy
