Status of the RISING Project at Relativistic Energies
The RISING project was designed to perform high-resolution gamma-ray spectroscopy with radioactive beams at GSI. Unstable beams were produced by fragmentation of relativistic heavy ion projectiles provided by the SIS synchrotron.
