A pre-LGM sandur deposit at Fiskarheden, NW Dalarna : sedimentology and glaciotectonic deformation

Av särskilt intresse här är, förutom dess höga ålder pre-daterande det senaste istidsmaxThe Fiskarheden quarry, situated in NW Dalarna, central Sweden, reveal thick deposits of coarse-grained sediments of Scott type facies association; a sandur deposited in an ice-proximal proglacial environment. Preliminary OSL dating of the sandur sediments suggest that they are of a pre-Saalian age (>200 000 years). Of special interest here is, besides its pre-LGM age, the large-scale and intense

Interest groups have wide influence in modern society, in particular when it comes to being respondents to remittances from the government. The purpose of this paper is to find out how interest groups in general and RFSL in particular legitimate themselves outwards and my research question hence being: ”How does RFSL legitimize itself outwards as an interest group regarding LGBT-issues?”. The pape

What perioperative situations are concerning to an anaesthesiologist, and what are some of the related joint cognitive system adaptations?

Bridging the gap between understanding work-as-imagined and work-as-done in the perioperative work context represents an important aim of cognitive systems engineering research. Researching this context using a joint cognitive systems theoretical approach can reveal patterns of adaptation that have important implications for system design. Traditional research approaches by non-domain investigator

Konsten att mobilisera. Inramning och diskursiva möjlighetsstrukturer som förklaringsmodell

This study examines how the social movement Refugees Welcome to Malmö managed to mobilize hundreds of volunteers in a short space of time in the autumn of 2015. The movements aim was to help refugees who had arrived at the Central train station in the southern swedish town Malmö with food, clothes and money. Using a theory-testing approach, this paper examines if the theories of framing and of dis

Water Crisis Risk and the EU - A Quantitative Analysis of Global Water Crisis Risk and an Assessment of its Implications for EU Water Management Policy

Water is arguably the world’s most valuable endangered resource, the management of which has been subject of contentious debate that in recent years has gained growing political, economic and media attention. This study intends to make use of that momentum by constructing a framework for quantifying global water crisis risk that is applied to assess both the EU’s share of such risk and the success
