A case study of impersonation from a security systems point of view
A professional impersonator has been studied when training his voice to mimic two target speakers. Training was performed by listening and/or using the output from a speaker verification system as feedback. Tests after training showed a significant increase in verfication score.

Logistik och juridik. Moderna affärsförbindelser och kontrakt som utmaningar för förmögenhetsrätten
This thesis is about the relationship between the legal system and the ways firms organize their economic activities. When firms apply new business models and establishing new forms of relationships, as e.g. in logistics, the law must "keep up" and evolve with them. The law is supposed to provide legal instruments to be used in practical business rendering reactions to unsound business. Without le

Commissioning of the test fel at MAX-Lab
An installation for testing techniques related to seeding and harmonic generation has been completed at MAXlab. The aim is to study the processes around seeded harmonic generation at 130/88/54 nm, the 2/3/5 harmonic of a Ti: Sapphire laser. During the spring 2008 the commissioning work has begun and this paper will report on the progress. The test FEL is built around the existing linac injector at
High-order harmonic generation in molecular gases
We present an experimental study of harmonic generation in molecular gases, using the fundamental (800 nm) and the second harmonic (400 nm) of a 150 fs titanium - sapphire laser at an intensity of ##IMG## [http://ej.iop.org/images/0953-4075/29/14/032/img1.gif] . We compare the conversion efficiency and the maximum energy obtained in different species: rare gases (Ar, Xe), diatomic molecules ( ##IM
Closed-Loop Combustion Control Using Ion-Current Signals in a 6-Cylinder Port-Injected Natural-gas Engine
High EGR rates combined with turbocharging has been identified as a promising way to increase the maximum load and efficiency of heavy-duty spark ignition engines. With stoichiometric conditions a three-way catalyst can be used which means that regulated emissions can be kept at very low levels. Obtaining reliable spark ignition is difficult however with high pressure and dilution. There will be a
Magnetic losses in composite materials
We discuss some of the problems involved in homogenization of a composite material built from ferromagnetic inclusions in a nonmagnetic background material. The small signal permeability for a ferromagnetic spherical particle is combined with a homogenization formula to give an effective permeability for the composite material. The composite material inherits the gyrotropic structure and resonant
