Minimax dual control with finite-dimensional information state
Resultatet exemplifieras på diskrettidsintegratorn där mätsignalen är absolutbeloppet av tillståndet och får fram en förvånandsvärt enThis article considers output-feedback control of systems where the function mapping states to measurements has a set-valued inverse. We show that if the set has a bounded number of elements, then minimax dual control of such systems admits finite-dimensional information states. We specialize our results to a discrete-time integrator with magnitude measurements and derive a surprisingly simple sub
Minimax Performance Limits for Multiple-Model Estimation
Vi ger metoder för att beräkna övre- och undre begränsningar på minimax prestanda, defininerad som förstärkningen från störningar tThis article concerns the performance limits of strictly causal state estimation for linear systems with fixed, but uncertain, parameters belonging to a finite set. In particular, we provide upper and lower bounds on the smallest achievable gain from disturbances to the point-wise estimation error. The bounds rely on forward and backward Riccati recursions-one forward recursion for each feasible m
Real-Time Adaptive Anomaly Detection in Industrial IoT Environments
To ensure reliability and service availability, nextgeneration networks are expected to rely on automated anomaly detection systems powered by advanced machine learning methods with the capability of handling multi-dimensional data. Tracks of History : a historical narrative analysis on the memory of the First World War and creation of the Czechoslovak state in the 21st Century Czech Republic
The following thesis is an attempt to analyse the concept of narrative in and around retellings of the events surrounding Czechoslovakia during the First World War and how they are subsequently depicted. This is done by primarily looking at three primary source materials: in English Czech historiography from the past 20 years, an autobiography from WWI and a modern video game on the same subject.
Biospecific interaction on solid phase between alcohol dehydrogenase and an immobilized NADH analog studied by fluorometry
Covalent Binding of an NAD Analogue to Liver Alcohol Dehydrogenase Resulting in an Enzyme-Coenzyme Complex not Requiring Exogenous Coenzyme for Activity
1. The NAD analogue, N6-[N-(6-aminohexyl)carbamoylmethyl]-NAD, was covalently bound to horse liver alcohol dehydrogenase in a carbodiimide-mediated reaction and in such a way that it was active with the very same enzyme molecule to which it was coupled. 2. The degree of substitution, i.e. the number of NAD analogues per enzyme subunit, could be varied (0.3 - 1.6). In one preparation 1.6 coenzyme m

Inclusive and differential cross-section measurements of tt¯Z production in pp collisions at s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector, including EFT and spin-correlation interpretations
Measurements of both the inclusive and differential production cross sections of a top-quark-top-antiquark pair in association with a Z boson (tt¯Z) are presented. Final states with two, three or four isolated leptons (electrons or muons) are targeted. The measurements use the data recorded by the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at s = 13 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider during the years 2015–2018
Measurements of jet quenching using semi-inclusive hadron+jet distributions in pp and central Pb-Pb collisions at sNN =5.02 TeV
The ALICE Collaboration reports measurements of the semi-inclusive distribution of charged-particle jets recoiling from a high transverse momentum (high pT) charged hadron, in pp and central Pb-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon collision sNN=5.02 TeV. The large uncorrelated background in central Pb-Pb collisions is corrected using a data-driven statistical approach which e

Assessing Unilateral Spatial Neglect using advanced technologies : The potentiality of mobile virtual reality
BACKGROUND: Unilateral Spatial Neglect, or neglect, is a common behavioral syndrome in patients following unilateral brain damage, such as stroke. In recent years, new technologies, such as computer-based tools and virtual reality have been used in order to solve some limitations of the traditional neglect evaluation. Within this perspective, also mobile devices such as tablets seems to be promisi
Steroid Conversion Using Immobilized Living Microorganisms
In steroid transformations some of the advantages of immobilized microorganisms seem to be especially important, since the manufacture of steroid drugs often involves very expensive intermediates and products (1). Therefore, we have been studying two corticosteroid transformations. The first reaction is an 11-β-hydroxylation catalyzed by free or polyacrylamide immobilized Curvularia lunata, pr

In the 17th century, land was very important. This essay deals with legal issues connected to land, and inheritance of land, in Jämtland after the Peace of Brömsebro in 1645. The reason for this is that Jämtland became Swedish through the Peace of Brömsebro from having previously been Danish-Norwegian. The vast majority of Jämtland’s inhabitants had also been deprived of their land by the Danish k
I 2 kap. 6 § regeringsformA man suffers from a serious mental disorder and is admitted according to Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). He is also suffering from a somatic illness which, although not life-threatening or acute now, could become seri-ous. The doctor wants to take a medical measure to investigate the disease to decide on treatment but the patient refuses. Chapter 2, section 6 Instrument of Government (RF)

Steroid transformation by activated living immobilized Arthrobacter simplex cells
A preparation of living Arthrobacter simplex cells immobilized in polyacrylamide gel, which showed steroid-Δ1-dehydrogenase activity, was studied. The entrapped microorganisms catalyzed the transformation of cortisol to prednisolone and this reaction was followed spectrophotometrically or with the aid of thin layer chromatography (TLC) and high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). About 40% of t
Machine learning-derived phenotypic trajectories of asthma and allergy in children and adolescents : protocol for a systematic review
INTRODUCTION: Development of asthma and allergies in childhood/adolescence commonly follows a sequential progression termed the 'atopic march'. Recent reports indicate, however, that these diseases are composed of multiple distinct phenotypes, with possibly differential trajectories. We aim to synthesise the current literature in the field of machine learning-based trajectory studies of asthma/all
