EEG analysis Workshop led by Olaf Hauk (University of Cambridge)

Published 2 April 2025

On April 2-4 April, Olaf Hauk from the University of Cambridge will hold a workshop on EEG analysis using MNE-Python. This is an on-site event and registration is required. Please send an email to NLS@sol.lu.se to sign up.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

  1. Pre-processing (reading and reviewing data, spectral filters, resampling, correcting artefacts with ICA and SSP, interpolating bad channels, epoching and averaging)
  2. Source Estimation (forward and inverse operators, head models, source spaces, co-registration, sensitivity maps, minimum norm, beamforming, spatial resolution)
  3. Time-frequency and functional connectivity analysis (wavelets, temporal and frequency resolution, synchronisation and phase-locking, inter-trial and inter-regional coherence, sensor and source space analyses)
  4. Statistics (ROI analysis, cluster-based permutation tests, sensor and source space)
  5. Decoding and RSA (decoding in sensor and source space, classifier filters and patterns, temporal generalisation, representational similarity matrices, RSA-Toolbox)
