Kurs 30 högskolepoäng • EUHR21
The aim of the course is to give you the opportunity to begin shaping your professional identity as a humanistic European Studies expert by using, reflecting on, and communicating your skills.
The internship can be carried out in the public or private sector in Europe or, for special reasons, in other parts of the world. The internship period must cover at least 18 weeks. You as a student are responsible for arranging the internship placement and for any necessary funding for travel, accommodation, etc.
The internship placement and the main tasks during the internship must be approved by the program coordinator and before the beginning of the course and the start of the internship, a tripartite agreement between the internship provider, student, and Lund University (the institution) must be established.
Attendance is mandatory during the internship period, and participation in the course introduction meeting and digital seminar is mandatory. The examination consists of two parts. Firstly, a written, analytical internship report on the experience gained from the internship, based on the student's subject knowledge and skills. Secondly, an individually written, reflective essay on general skills and the role of humanistic European Studies in the professional world, which will be discussed with other course participants at a mandatory digital seminar. In addition, it is required that the internship provider certifies that the student has carried out the internship in an acceptable manner.
