Komplitt: Forum for Comparative Literature was founded in 2013 with the aim to foster different forms of collaboration among scholars of the 17 languages sections at the Centre for Languages and Literature of Lund University, and to promote interdisciplinary approaches to literary studies. Komplitt has established itself as the first and unique research group of its kind in Sweden, and is committed to bringing Scandinavian perspectives to the global development of Comparative Literature as a discipline.
Komplitt has grown considerably, with members now working at Lund University, the University of Bristol and Østfold University College. Between 2016 and 2021, several of our researchers participated in the research program "World Literatures: Cosmopolitan and Vernacular Dynamics", based at Stockholm University.
Following a visiting scholarship to the Centre for Reception Study and the Center for Translation Study in 2019, we have an ongoing collaboration with the University of Leuven, entitled "the Lund/Leuven Seminars".
