I am an Associate Professor of French, specialising in linguistic, literary and historical perspectives on the French language and its texts. My doctoral thesis was a critical edition of an unknown medieval French chivalric romance. Since I am interested in the evolution of language and literature over time, I also work with early modern texts, 19th-century literature and translation.
I studied at the Sorbonne in France and, after completing my PhD at Lund University (LU), held a five-year academic research position in medieval language and literature at the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
I teach French at all levels. Alongside my work on French, I have participated in several projects on neighbouring languages, focusing on Danish and Swedish. As well as my academic work, I have also written children's books and popular science books.
