I am an ancient historian and classical philologist. I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation, Order and Adornment: The Role of Dress in Plutarch, in November 2022. It provides the first investigation and analysis of dress throughout Plutarch's authorship.

At Lund University I have lectured in courses in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History. I have previously been employed at the University of Copenhagen in various academic positions.

I am a post-doctoral researcher in ancient Greek, researching the writings of Galen and their significance for the understanding of ancient medicinal cosmetics. I also have a project at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, working on the Lund University collection of ancient Greek and Latin squeezes.
