I am a visiting research fellow, section of Arabic studies, Centre for Languages and Literature, associate professor of Linguistics (pragmatics). In my teaching journey in the field of education, I have been teaching language skills, Linguistics courses, ELT courses, and Arabic courses for speakers of other languages. My teaching philosophy is that "the teacher shouldn't be a slave of a particular method. Perfectness can be reached by working hard. The teacher must be creative. He is a builder of the students' language confidence. Flexibility and strictness are necessary for the teacher. My research interests are discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, dialectology, morphology, cross-cultural pragmatics, cultural studies and translation. I have also good academic and administrative skills. I organized many training sessions and workshops for EFL teachers. I taught all levels and ages of students: postgraduates, undergraduates, secondary and elementary students.
