I’m a doctoral student in English Linguistics. I hold a Master’s degree (One Year) in English Linguistics from Lund University. My research interest lies within the broad framework of usage-based Cognitive-Functional Linguistics, as does my PhD-project.
This project focuses on the uses of the intersubjective expressions quite, rather, pretty and fairly in contemporary English. The study is corpus based and it seeks to understand the multifunctionality of particularly quite. What does it take to know the use of this construction?
My main research interests are Cognitive-Functional Linguistics and Corpus Linguistics.
I have mainly taught courses in English grammar and language proficiency. I have also held workshops in English phonetics. I'm currently not teaching in the English Unit.
In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
