Hannah Persson is a Doctoral Student at the department of English Literature at Lund University. She gained her Master’s degree in English at the University of Copenhagen and has since been working on her PhD investigating the use and function of space in Early Modern drama, specifically Shakespeare’s plays. The thesis seeks to highlight the important dramatic function of space and its effects on the configuration and reception of Shakespeare’s plays. She is currently the editorial secretary of the Journal RomantiK: Journal for the Studies of Romanticisms, and has previously been published as part of an online virtual collection in connection with REVE: European Romanticism in Association, a pan-European organisation that seeks to academic encourage collaborations between individual researchers, scholarly associations, and institutions studying Romantic literature and culture.
