I am a doctoral student in English linguistics. I am also an upper-secondary school teacher of English, French, and Swedish for immigrants (SFI). I have previously taught English at the upper-secondary school level, and Swedish as a second language at the compulsory school level.
My PhD project is about vocabulary learning in multilingual English classrooms. I am looking at how students learn new words in English using a vocabulary task which I have designed and then integrated into the students' teaching together with teacher collaborators.
