I am a researcher and lecturer in literary studies and medical humanities. My main fields are literature and sexuality and literature and medicine. The project Listening Pleasures: Sexual Health and Audio Fiction in the Age of Digital Intimacy investigates app-based audio erotica aimed at female listeners. I also research care narratives, medical and literary language, and teach and supervise at the Faculty of Medicine.

2022 I defended my thesis Vid pornografins gräns. Erotik i svensk prosa 1819–2019, a dissertation on literary history and pornography that examines sexuality in Swedish prose through case studies of Almqvist's Murnis, Leffler's Kvinnlighet och erotik II, Krusenstjerna's "Fröknarna von Pahlen" and Wijkmark's Jägarna på Karinhall, among others.

My other research interests are interdisciplinary, focused on literary peripheries and border phenomena, among them graphic novels, children's and young adult literature and intermediality.
