My research centres on screen production and location studies, with an emphasis on the Nordic and Arctic regions. My current project investigates the phenomenon of Scandinavian 'runaway' screen production, focusing on the mobility and outsourcing of film and television projects to, from and across Scandinavia.

I have written on a variety of topics, including Arctic and Nordic screen production, screen production in Greenland, location-based production practices, (production) landscapes, place branding, transnational collaboration, and Danish literature.

In December 2023, I defended my PhD dissertation at the University of Copenhagen, which examined the interaction between international and local screen production in and about Greenland.
