I am a PhD student in English literature and work with contemporary environmental non-fiction. My interest lies in understanding how non-fiction such as popular science and nature writing can question anthropocentric narratives. I am curious to understand how sustainable narratives can be forged at the intersection of scientific research and literary writing.
I hold two master’s degrees from the University of Bonn, Germany. My master theses ranged from analysing anthropomorphic trees in Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings to a cultural-historical approach to the epistemic and ecological extractivisms of human ethnological expositions. My research interests include material ecocriticism, critical plant studies, and postcolonial entanglements of humans and other-than-humans.
In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
