This course focuses on both morphology and syntax. You will work practically with exercises to become confident in formulating correct and varied sentences in Yiddish. You will also practice writing on various topics and collaborate with others to improve your grammatical knowledge.

The course includes theoretical and contrastive comparisons between Yiddish and Swedish/English. You will analyze and discuss both historical and contemporary texts to better understand Yiddish grammatical structures.
