The course places great emphasis on text reading, text comprehension, written and oral language skills. The course places a greater focus on knowledge of language and literature than on the previous course (Yiddish: Intermediate Course I for Teachers) and integrates basic subject didactics in the teaching. The course focuses on overview and analysis of existing teaching materials in Yiddish, communicative and interactive learning and teaching, methodology for distance learning and preparation of study plans and lesson planning based on the curriculum in Yiddish as a second language.
