Course
Course 15 credits • ENEK06
This is a BA essay course for students who already have a BA, but no BA degree project, and who want to go on to get an MA (master's degree).
The contents of the course
This course consists of a degree project in English literature or English linguistics. To help you with your degree project, there's a seminar series, and you will also get supervision.
After the course
When you have a BA and a BA degree project, you can apply to a master's programme and go on to get an MA (master's degree) in English. At the Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL) there is a master's programme in translation, a master's programme in literature, culture and media, and a master's programme in languages and linguistics.
Today it is normally necessary to have an MA if you want to be a Ph.D. student and eventually get a Ph.D. and teach English at university level.
