Students read approximately 30 pages of Arabic newspaper texts on this course. The texts are analysed with particular regard to grammar, vocabulary and practical language proficiency. The course offers further active training in the reading of and listening to Arabic in the mass media via radio/television and/or the internet with the aim of building up the vocabulary of students to 2,500 words.
